Been here twice already. This is after regularly going to another sushi restaurant at Happy Hour. Initially, taken aback at the price of sushi. Quickly realized their pieces of sushi are rather large! Very creamy and decently fresh.
Ordered the avocado bomb and it was delicious. Innovative dish. Then move on to the sashimi salad and wow, so many pieces of fish we ended up feeling very stuffed. Also ordered the no name roll and it was another creative dish. A bit on the sweet side, but the wife liked it.
Would definitely go again in the near future. -

WORST SERVICE EVER!!! *heads up*
I came here to eat with my sister, and our server was very rude, I don't know her name all I know is that she was a middle-aged woman and she wore glasses, and when we were trying to explain to her what we wanted she was extremely rude to us and was talking to us like we were five years old in fact it almost felt like she was arguing with us about our food and trying to tell us the difference between sushi and rolls as if we didn't know, and when my sister was trying to order she pretty much ignored her and only spoke to me and she was treating her like she was a little girl that didn't know how to order, keep in mind we are both legal of age, she came back wants to clarify the order and she ran my sisters order through me and I explained to her that I wasn't the one ordering that and she was like yeah I know but that's what she's getting correct? That was the only time we spoke to her other than that a different person brought us our two rolls, we already felt extremely uncomfortable so once we got our food we ate super fast.
I WANT TO CLARIFY WE CAME BEFORE AND SHE WAS RUDE AND WE JUST THOUGHT IT WASNT HER DAY
I would say we were at the restaurant no more than 10 minutes, in total we paid $12, literally no more no less, we thought the service was horrible so we obviously didn't tip.... I am the type of person that I will only tip if the service was good/decent, it is common sense that you don't tip the person if they treat you bad.. and it gets worse, as we are walking to our car this lady has the audacity to follow me to my car and starts harassing us! She was like, "really like are you really just not going to give me a tip, like was the service that bad?" And obviously I was blown away and I was like, "excuse me" and she was like "yes like are you not going to tip me?" And I told her that I was not obligated to give her anything , I also explained to her that I was there for 10 minutes, I told her that in fact she was very rude to me and she began to argue about how she wasn't rude to me, at this point I don't even know why i am having this conversation with this lady, and explaining why I didn't tip, and she continues to tell me that i have no common sense and that i should be eating at a FAST FOOD restaurant if im not going to tip and then i explained to her how rude it was of her to follow me to my car, and she just continued to scream at me outside and tell me that I shouldn't be coming here if I'm not able to tip and then she just turned around and left.
No one has ever done this to me, let alone have I had someone complain about a tip, I will never come back to this place, and this isnt the first time the waiter was rude! I will never recommend anyone this sushi joint, she deserves to be fired whether you get tipped or not you don't harass a customer about it. -

We were looking forward to trying this place based on the Yelp rating and reviews. Plus we wanted a place to get good ramen without having to drive to the SFV or Studio City. Unfortunately, our experience was not consistent with the reviews.
We were there during "Happy Hour" but the pricing was exactly the same as on the regular menu so that was confusing. Either that or the waiter forgot to give us the Happy Hour discount, which wouldn't be surprising.
We ordered the Spicy Tempura Ramen $9.50. The noodles were not ramen noodles. They seemed like thin udon noodles or thick somen noodles that were a little overcooked and was very a small portion. The broth was a watered down, spicy soup that had quite a bit of onions (fishing for noodles, I kept getting onions), carrots (weird), some nori. There was only one piece of shrimp tempura and two thin slices of kamaboko.
We also tried the Tuna Delight $15.50 which is described as: crab wrapped in tuna sashimi, ponzu sauce, spicy mayo, served with little spicy tuna eggrolls. It was a plate of 8 pieces of basically California rolls (without the cucumber and avocado) wrapped in tuna with a drizzle of spicy mayo. The ponzu sauce was on the spicy tuna eggrolls which were served on a small bed of mixed greens with some cucumber namasu. The portion size of the "eggrolls" was two Totino pizza rolls cut in half. They were so small, the tuna was very cooked and no longer recognizable as spicy tuna.
We'll keep looking! -

The average sushi place. Came here last nite to introduce my 12 year old to sushi. And it's been awhile for me having sushi. That being said...very average all around. Service was nice, atmosphere bland. Eel..too fishy and slimy. Crab..tasted like mayo..Go to Wokano for great crab rolls. Other items...OK..Have to say, nothing stood out either way. I think with all the options we have in life, this shouldn't be one of them. That being said..it wasn't bad, but not memorable for any reason. I'd go somewhere else to make your memories

Sushi was delicious! Really fresh fish, service from the waiter was ok , service from the sushi chef was better.
